Become a mini-company coach and share your experience
To ensure that the mini-companies run smoothly, assistance from outside the school is essential. A pool of coaches from the world of business is put together. These professionals have the task of inspiring young people, supporting them in their project, encouraging them to overcome new obstacles, advising them and intervening on an ad hoc basis as required. The young people will go through a number of stages: choosing the final product, drawing up a business or financial plan, developing a marketing strategy, preparing a presentation and looking for potential partners. These are all stages that will require valuable advice from their coach.
How it works
If you want to get involved in the programme, you can do so at three levels.
I. Classic coaching
With classic coaching, you accompany the mini-company throughout the school year and help it through all the stages of setting up a business. Each coach should meet with the group of students at least three times during the school year (between October and June). One meeting a month would be even more beneficial. The meetings should be arranged between the team and the coach, depending on the availability of both parties. The briefing and preparation of the coaches is done by Jonk Entrepreneuren Luxembourg.
II. Speed coaching
If your schedule does not allow you to commit to long-term coaching, our speed coaching sessions can be an ideal alternative. These condensed sessions allow students to ask specific questions or receive immediate feedback on their ideas.
The dates of the sessions will be announced in September, with the possibility of registering for a session if your timetable allows.
III. Training
In addition to coaching, students also have the opportunity to get in touch with people from the professional world and learn from them through ongoing training. If you would like to offer a training course, please contact us (info@jel.lu).
